A single piston firing at 200 Hz generates peak accelerations exceeding 1,500 g at the chamber wall. At this frequency, cyclic fatigue limits the piston seal life to hours, not years. The vibration couples into the frame, the plumbing, and the product stream. Single-piston designs at this firing rate are mechanically untenable.
The Oasis core solves this with a V8 Radial "Gatling" Configuration: eight independent 5 ml chambers arranged at 45-degree intervals around a central manifold, firing in a staggered sequence at 200 Hz aggregate. Each individual chamber fires at 25 Hz — well within standard piston-seal endurance — while the radial symmetry produces dynamic force cancellation. Opposing chambers fire 180 degrees out of phase, so the net vibrational force on the housing is near zero. The result is a continuous, pulsation-free high-pressure flow of 8 L/min at 15 bar operating pressure.
The staggered timing also provides thermal benefit: each chamber has a 40 ms dwell between firings for coolant circulation, preventing thermal accumulation that would degrade the flash evaporation efficiency over sustained runs.
