01 // Radial Expansion Chamber

The Bottleneck: Conventional multi-stage flash plants use mechanical pumps to pull vacuum. Pump-down speed limits cycle frequency, which limits throughput per unit volume.

The Solution: The Oasis uses a Radial Expansion Chamber with high-speed vacuum staging valves. Instead of pumping air out, the chamber volume expands rapidly in all directions, dropping internal pressure below the vapor saturation point in milliseconds.

At the target pressure (~20 mbar), water's existing thermal energy is sufficient to drive flash evaporation. The water doesn't need to be heated to boiling—removing the pressure achieves the same phase transition at ambient temperature. This is the core advantage over both reverse osmosis (pressure-driven filtration) and conventional thermal distillation (energy-intensive boiling).
